2311 posts · Joined 2017. #2 · Mar 8, 2018. DPF usually means Dual Pump Fluid, which is the fluid in the rear differential for CR-Vs that are AWD or RT4WD. I'm not sure what DPF means when you're talking about a diesel engine. Done and Gone.

I have noticed over the last couple of days that my 2.2 diesel 8th gen is very hard to start. Has always started at the touch of a button but now cranks and cranks until it fires. However, tonight it wouldn't start at all until i primed the fuel pump and it fired. I am maybe thinking some sort of fuel pump issue. Once started, it runs no problem.
