best 2008/2009 diesel without major dpf problems - thunderbird : Pre September 2010 Kia Ceed 1.6 CRDi were not fitted with dpf's and are a cracking car with no engine issues, even have a chain driven cam. We have a Setember 2010 model with a dpf, had no issues with that and have never heard of any.

Od roku 2012 sa vyrába nový motor s označením R2,0 a ten už má rozvodovú reťaz. Mimo to sa vyrába ešte diesel U1,7 / U1,4 /U1,6 - všetko rozvodová reťaz. Akurát do U1,4 sa montoval iný palivový systém a to Delphi (do normy Euro 5) , inak všade dávajú Bosch. Kia ceed II 1,4 Silver.
