The 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 that produces 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and has standard all-wheel drive, as well as a performance-tuned suspension, larger wheels and upgraded brakes.

The 295-hp V-6 is the only engine on the base Laredo, but for the Limited, Overland, and Summit it’s one of three choices, the others being the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 and the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel.

The 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine churns out 213kW and 347Nm, which really isn’t a lot for either the size of the engine or the weight of the Grand Cherokee. You do get an excellent eight-speed
