Since the problem began I have put in a new good quality battery, all glow plugs replaced, new glow plug fuses on battery, new fuel filter, EGR cleaned, and new Fordiesel motors, the oil standard for the 1.9 JTDm is ACEA C2, while the standard for the 2.4 JTDm is ACEA B4. Lighter weight oils like 0W-40 and 0W-30 can My2.0 jtdm uses a 32mm socket which is easy enough its a pain in the arse changing the oil filters on the dervs as access is a real pig . Save Share.
