The famous red "R" on silver shield of the Richthofen Geschwader is below the windshield and the HORRIDO badge of 3.Staffel on the nose; both of these markings are on both sides of the fuselage. The yellow colour of the identification number also indicates 3.Staffel. This 109E-3 has an interesting story attached to the markings.
Hasegawa's 1:48 scale Bf 109 G-14. Hasegawa's 1:48 scale Bf 109 G-14 was every bit as nice as the initial G-6 release. 13K 5,373. Silver Bar. Jun 04, 2014 #1. Airfix 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 (A02029A) The in box review can be found here. I have made a start on the kit, the very basic cockpit has been painted medium sea grey: The seat is the only thing to go in to the cockpit less the pilot, who is clearly from the wrong era as he is wearing a modern helmet

Review of the superb Me Bf109G-6 from Tamiya plus my experiences of building the kit, and why this is so superior to the more recent Spitfire Mk1 from Tamiya

And here are my contributions: After reentering the hobby in 2002, this was my second 109 I did. It is ICM's Bf 109 E-7 done in about 2005. I think the next one was the Fine Molds Bf 109 G-4 /R6. then came a Bf 109 G-10 Erla Built and a Bf 109 G-6/AS. For the G-10 Erla built, I used the Revell G-10 and the Loon conversion fuselage.
