Possible injector problem? – 09-09-2012, 03:50 PM. Its unlikely that 3 months on the wrong oil will have done any harm but you should change it. These pd engines must have the correct oil or the cams will be damaged and they connect to the injectors. Long term use of the wrong oil will lead to a big repair bill on a pd engine.
TDI. 05.5 pkg2! Jun 21, 2012. #3. i'm assuming the rack takes a lot of power, check the large vertical fuses in the engine bay fuse box. i don't know if they're labelled like the rest. Check. SA1. SA2. 2 fuses in the front vertical position of the engine fuse box. 1 is 200 amps, 2 is 80 amps.
I should mention that although it may be the egr valve that needs cleaning. (quite likely) it may also be faulty swirl valves amongst other things.
